Chelsea goalkeeper Eddie Beach joins Crawley Town on loan

The Blues have sanctioned a loan move for young goalkeeper Eddie Beach to Crawley Town for the entire 2024/25 campaign. The 20-year-old spent this summer with Chelsea’s first-team squad in the pre-season tour in the United States.

Beach arrived from Southampton in the summer of 2022 and has made 11 appearances for Chelsea’s Under-21 team in the 2023/24 season. He also enjoyed loan spells with Chelmsford Town and Gateshead in the past.

The youngster would compete with new arrival Jojo Wollacott for the starting spot in between the sticks this summer.
