Chelsea FC willing to sell Noni Madueke

The 33rd season of the English Premier League is just moments away from the kick-off. One of the elite teams of the competition, Chelsea FC will start their campaign in a high-voltage clash against the defending champions Manchester City. But, that’s not the only tension the Blues have.

The London-based club hails the biggest squad among all the teams in the top division. They are literally having a 43-member first team at this moment. Having this big a team can invite unwanted ruckus. So, it has been learned that Chelsea and their head coach Enzo Maresca are willing to sell some of the players, and with the final few days left in the transfer window, possibilities are bright.

As per a report in The Athletic, Chelsea FC are willing to sell young and talented English winger Noni Madueke. The player joined for a hefty fee of 28.5 million Euros from Dutch club PSV Eindhoven only in January 2023. The report claims that Chelsea would sell the player for any amount which surpasses the transfer fee they paid.

The move comes as a surprise as it has barely been a year and a half since the youngster joined. Also, he has given an effective performance at the English club in the minimal gametime he received. Last season, he struck nine goals for the side, in 34 matches. He could have been one of Chelsea’s key players from the right.

Chelsea FC have been very busy this transfer window, making big signings like Pedro Neto, Kiernan Dewsbury-Hall, and Omary Kelliman to name a few. The club has also sold some of their players, Iaan Maatsen and Lewis Hall. They are going through a rebuilding phase with the hope of improving the tally from last season. They are expected to have some desperate departures in the coming days.
