Chelsea completes new goalkeeper signing from Villarreal

As per several reports in the English media, Premier League club Chelsea has completed the signing of goalkeeper Filip Jorgenson from La Liga club Villarreal.

The 22-year-old Denmark international was linked with the Blues for quite a bit of time in the ongoing summer transfer window. The English club was reported to be in talks and negotiations with Villarreal to bring Jorgenson to the Stamford Bridge. Now it seems like Enzo Maresca has added a promising player to his squad leading into the new Premier League season.

The transfer amount involved in the deal between Chelsea and Villarreal is termed to be around £20.7 million (via EPL Index).
