Chelsea closing on €20m summer transfer for goalkeeper

The Blues are reportedly in advanced talks with Genk goalkeeper Mike Penders and are close in on reaching an agreement for the Belgian youngster. Chelsea have offered a €20m package for the shot-stopper and also a percentage of future resale to the Belgian side.

But, the condition of the transfer is that he will be sent back on loan to Genk for the entire season once an agreement over personal terms and transfer fee has been agreed. Penders did not play a single game for the senior side, but featured in 25 appearances for Genk’s reserve team last season.
