Chelsea banish Atletico Madrid bound Conor Gallagher from first-team training

Chelsea academy star Conor Gallagher has been exiled from first-team training after the club accepted a bid from Atletico Madrid. The player, who is out of contract in 2025, has reportedly refused a two-year contract extension from Chelsea.

The Blues hierarchy has informed that the 24-year-old midfielder will not be part of Enzo Maresca’s plans when the team returns from their tour of the United States. Chelsea are rumoured to have accepted a verbal offer from Atletico of around £33m.

🔵 Conor Gallagher has been excluded from Chelsea's first team, banished to train away from the squad. Chelsea accepted a £34m bid from Atletico Madrid, but Gallagher declined to renew his contract.

His future at the club remains uncertain.
