Chelsea agreed terms with Atletico Madrid over Conor Gallagher deal

The Blues have accepted a £33m bid from La Liga giants Atletico Madrid for academy graduate Conor Gallagher who has entered the final year of his Chelsea contract. It remains to be seen whether the Englishman agrees to a move to the Spanish capital.

Gallagher could also opt to leave Stamford Bridge on a free transfer next year but the Blues are determined not to lose him on free when his contract expires. The 24-year-old midfielder rejected a new Chelsea contract in June which was a two-year deal with an option for a third season.
