Casemiro Transfer: The Brazilian hasn’t been in good form for Manchester United
According to Transfer expert Fabrizio Romano, Saudi Pro League clubs are interested in Manchester United midfielder Casemiro. The Brazilian has come under criticism for his lackluster performances this season. Romano has now reported that several SPL sides are monitoring the former Real Madrid star.
Romano wrote on X:
“Saudi Pro League clubs have Casemiro’s name on their shortlist since October. Proposals to player’s camp and to Man United are expected to follow after final budget for SPL clubs is clarified. There are good chances for Casemiro to leave Man United this summer.”
Casemiro has not been in good form for Manchester United this season. He has often been forced to play as a centre-back this season and his performance during United’s recent 4-0 loss against Crystal Palace was met with harsh criticism by experts. He has made 30 appearances across competitions this season, scoring five goals and providing three assists. The 32-year-old is contracted with the Red Devils until the end of the 2025-26 season and has an estimated market value of 30 million Euros.
Journalist claims Casemiro doesn’t like Manchester United manager Erik ten Hag
Journalist Julien Laurens has claimed that Manchester United midfielder Casemiro doesn’t like Erik ten Hag. Laurens has claimed that Casemiro is unhappy to be playing as a centre-back and further claimed that he doesn’t like Erik ten Hag. He said (via GiveMeSport):
“But Casemiro, this is not his position, he doesn’t want to play there, he doesn’t want to be at Manchester United, he doesn’t like Ten Hag. He still should be professional and play well. He doesn’t.”
Casemiro’s future is one to keep an eye on as Manchester United are also expected to trim their squad in the summer. Given the reported stance of both parties, a potential exit could be on the cards.
