Brentford confirmed Gustavo Nunes’s signing from Gremio

Brentford have reportedly confirmed the signing of Gustavo Nunes from Gremio, according to Ben Jacobs on X. The 18-year-old has joined the Premier League outfit on a six-year contract with the option of extending it further by another two years. The Bees paid the Brazilian side a fee of £10 million for his services.

Thomas Frank, the Brentford head coach, lavished praise on Nunes, saying he has a “lot of potential” and asserted that his side must “maximise” that in every aspect. The teenager made his Gremio debut in February this year, coming on in the first half and providing an assist in their 1-1 draw with Sao Luiz in the Brazilian Serie A.
