BREAKING: Tottenham getting closer to signing Johnny Cardoso

Tottenham Hotspur are now getting closer to an agreement over Real Betis midfielder Johnny Cardoso which will see Giovani Lo Celso make a switch to his former club. According to Fabrizio Romano, Spurs are looking to offload Lo Celso in the final hours of the window and they are on the verge of landing the talented 22-year-old Cardoso.

The North Londoners have inserted a clause that will see them buy a percentage if Betis sell Cardoso to another club in the future. Cardoso has made 17 appearances in La Liga for Real Betis last season and has earned 15 caps for the USMNT.
