BREAKING: Stefan Bajcetic has agreed a loan move to RB Salzburg

Liverpool midfielder Stefan Bajcetic has accepted a loan move to Austrian side Red Bull Salzburg which is currently managed by former Liverpool assistant manager Pep Lijnders. The youngster has also received a bid from Barcelona as they are looking for a replacement for Marc Bernal who sustained a season-ending knee injury.

But Barcelona failed to strike a deal with the 19-year-old midfielder as Salzburg were in the driving seat to complete a deal for the Spanish youngster. Stefan Bajcetic is expected to travel to Austria on Thursday to complete his move.

RB Salzburg does not have a buy option included in the deal for the young midfielder.
