BREAKING: Raheem Sterling rejected £650,000-a-week offer to join Arsenal

Chelsea loanee Raheem Sterling has rejected a lucrative proposal to join Mikel Arteta’s side on the deadline day. The England international rejected a stunning £650,000-a-week offer from an unnamed club in Saudi Arabia in order to sanction a move to Arsenal.

Sterling has reportedly taken a pay to join from his £300,000-a-week wages at Chelsea to work with Mikel Arteta for the remainder of the 2024/25 campaign. He also retains his ambition to make it to the England squad for the 2026 World Cup.

The 29-year-old winger could transform the Arsenal attack if he’s able to regain his form and confidence.
