BREAKING: Conor Gallagher accepts verbal terms with Atletico Madrid

Chelsea midfielder Conor Gallagher has now verbally accepted terms to join Spanish giants Atletico Madrid after the club accepted a bid for his services this summer. Gallagher has rejected two contract extension proposals from Chelsea because of a disagreement over the length of the deal.

The Blues are determined to sanction his departure this summer as Atletico Madrid have already agreed to pay €40m for the England international. The club has forced the midfielder to train away from the first-team.

But according to Fabrizio Romano, Gallagher has accepted a transfer to the Spanish capital and the move will soon be officially annouced.
