BREAKING: Arsenal agrees loan deal to sign Bournemouth captain Neto

The Gunners have reached a verbal agreement with Bournemouth goalkeeper Neto who will join the Emirates on a season-long loan. Arsenal made a move for the Premier League veteran after they hit an impasse over Espanyol’s Joan Garcia.

Arsenal’s second-choice goalkeeper Aaron Ramsdale has agreed to move to Southampton on a £25million transfer and the club has identified Joan Garcia to replace the Englishman at the Emirates. Despite agreeing to personal terms with the Spaniard, Espanyol are holding out a €30million release clause for the goalkeeper and are playing hardball late in the transfer window.

Deal will happen only if Arsenal will not be able to sign Joan García as Espanyol have rejected TWO bids today.

Neto will act as a back-up to David Raya and is set to undergo his medical on Friday.
