Bournemouth close to securing a deal for Barcelona’s Julian Araujo

Barcelona defender Julian Araujo is close to finalising a move to Premier League side AFC Bournemouth, as the clubs are currently negotiating a deal worth €10 million. The Catalan giants reportedly want to include a sell-on clause and the deal could be finalised in the next few days.

Manager Hansi Flick does not count the defender in his plans going forward and his departure is a crucial operation to balance the finances.

According to reports, Bournemouth are the top contenders for the Mexican right-back and an agreement between both clubs is expected in the coming hours. Araujo’s departure can further fund a move for Manchester City defender Joao Cancelo.
