Best Defenders to pick for Fantasy Premier League GW 7

As Fantasy Premier League enters Gameweek 7, the focus is on the defenders who can score the most points. Like always this week too we have several fixtures to get excited about. Let us look at the defenders who can get you the most points in Fantasy Premier League.

5. Aaron Wan Bissaka

Once upon a time not that long ago, Aaron Wan Bissaka was an extremely hyped RB first at Crystal Palace and then Manchester United. However, since then his career trajectory hasn’t been quite on the same path. Now at West Ham, he’s doing well again. This week they play a poor Ipswich side and Wan Bissaka could get at least a clean sheet and some points in Fantasy Premier League.

4. Jurrien Timber

It takes a high calibre of player to even get into Arsenal’s backline and that is exactly what Jurrien Timber is. The Dutchman spent last season out injured but has come back and slotted straight into the right-back slot ahead of Ben White. He was subbed off against PSG at half time so it remains to be seen if he is fit. If he’s fit, he’s a great option in Fantasy Premier League as Southampton are Arsenal’s opponents this weekend.

3. Josko Gvardiol

Pep Guardiola’s roulette of defenders has gradually reduced of late and Josko Gvardiol is one of the big reasons. The Croatian is very consistent and has basically been flawless. He scores and assists and is very solid defensively too. Last weekend against Newcastle he found the back of the net and with City facing Fulham this weekend, another decent point haul might await him in Fantasy Premier League.

2. Gabriel

Arsenal defender Gabriel has the most points out of all defenders so far this season in Fantasy Premier League. The Brazilian is a dual threat. The Gunners are extremely good defensively and thus the Brazilian gets a lot of points from clean sheets. Additionally, there’s probably no one in the Premier League who is more dangerous from a corner. Southampton are the Gunners’ opponents this weekend and Gabriel could profit a lot.

Like Erling Haaland, like Mo Salah, Trent Alexander-Arnold too is Fantasy Premier League royalty. Liverpool have started the season in amazing form and have gone to the top of the table. Under manager Arne Slot, the RB has assumed an even more important role of late and continues to create loads. Although he has just one assist so far, the underlying numbers are great. Expect more as his side takes on an out-of-form Crystal Palace side this weekend.
