Manuel Ugarte signs for Manchester United

Manchester United mark the transfer deadline day with the signing of the Paris Saint-Germain midfielder, Manuel Ugarte for around 42 million pounds along with 10 million in add-ons. PSG wanted around 50 million pounds but United negotiated a lower price with the bonuses subject to performances and success.

United highly rate Ugarte and expect that he would give Ten Hag a second senior holding player, alongside Casemiro.

Ivan Toney agrees deal with Al Ahli

Brentford are set to sell Ivan Toney to Saudi Pro League team, Al Ahli, after a year-long transfer saga which saw the player linked with clubs like Arsenal and Manchester United. The transfer fee finalised for the forward is around 40 million pounds and will sign a four-year contract with his new squad. The combined cost of the fee and his salary is somewhere around 100 million pounds in total.

Carlos Soler to West Ham United

West Ham United have agreed to sign Spanish midfielder Carlos Soler on the deadline day loan move from Ligue 1 champions Paris Saint Germain. A buy option has been included in the deal as West Ham will cover the salary as part of the agreement.

Aaron Ramsdale signs for Southampton

Southampton has completed the signing of English goalkeeper, Aaron Ramsdale from Arsenal. There are reports that the Saints will pay an initial 18 million pounds with an extra 7 million as add-ons. The 26-year-old goalkeeper has signed a four-year deal with an option to extend for another year.

Neto Moves to Arsenal

Bournemouth goalkeeper Neto has signed his contracts for his loan move to Arsenal as Espanyol confirmed that the gunner’s final bid for Joan Garcia will not be accepted. Kepa Arrizabalaga’s arrivial at the Cherries from Chelsea meant that they open for the departure of the Brazillian Keeper.

Juan Bernat joins Villareal on loan

The 31-year-old Spanish left-back is set to join Villareal on a loan deal from Paris Saint Germain. Bernat has previously played for teams like Paris Saint-Germain and Bayern Munich, with 128 and 113 appearances respectively.

Raheem Sterling joins Arsenal on a loan deal

Arsenal have strengthened their ranks with the addition of English winger, Raheem Sterling on loan. The 29-year-old was side lined by the new Chelsea manager, Enzo Maresca, who has many options when in his squad when it comes to wingers. He publicly said he “prefers a different kind of winger”.

Sterling was one of the marquee signings of the Todd Boehly era, joining for around 48 million pounds in the summer of 2022 from Manchester City.

Jadon Sancho set to be a loanee at Chelsea

Finally a month of uncertainty surrounding Jadon Sancho came to an end as he set to join Chelsea from Manchester United on loan with an obligation to buy. The deal will be permanent for about 25 million pounds at the end of the season and it is believed during the period of loan Chelsea are going to cover most of his salary.
