Atalanta 0-1 Bologna Player Ratings: Santiago Castro scores late winner to take the visitors through

Atalanta hosted Bologna at their Gewiss Stadium in the quarter-finals of the Coppa Italia on February 4 and fell to a 1-0 defeat, thus bowing out of the competition.

The first half was a cagey affair as both teams shared nearly equal possession of the ball. They both created decent chances to push forward but managed just one shot on target apiece from half a dozen attempts.

Atalanta came out for the second half with more intent and dominated possession. They attempted seven shots and four of those were on target. However, Bologna struck the decisive blow in the 80th minute. Santiago Castro put the visitors ahead and they held on to secure a semi-final berth.

On that note, let’s take a look at the Atalanta vs Bologna player ratings.
