Arsenal wonderkid Chido Obi-Martin set to join Manchester United

Dutch youngster, Chido Obi-Martin is one of the highly-touted attacking talents in world football and he gained popularity after scoring 10 goals in one game against Liverpool U-16s. The 16-year-old made a fantastic name for himself after a breakout 2023/24 campaign.

He scored an astounding 32 goals in 18 appearances in the U18 Premier League last season and his impressive numbers at such a young age has attracted some of the top elite clubs in Europe. But, Obi Martin has decided to transfer to Manchester United despite a huge proposal from Arsenal.

The 16-year-old has visited United’s training facilities in Carrington earlier this week and both parties are already in talks over a possible summer move. The Red Devils would have fend off interest from Bayern Munich and Borussia Dortmund, who are also gunning for the teenager’s signature.

Obi-Martin who was seen training with the Arsenal first-team last season is on his way out this summer.
