Arsenal set conditions on Aaron Ramsdale loan deal as Southampton prepare bid
Arsenal goalkeeper Aaron Ramsdale has been linked with a move away from the Emirates for quite some time now since he lost his No.1 spot to David Raya last summer. The Gunners are willing to let the Englishman leave on a temporary switch who doesn’t want to warm the bench for one more year.
But Arsenal wants to include an obligation to buy clause if they get a significant loan fee and the suitor covers a significant portion of Ramsdale’s £120,000-a-week salary. Wolves and Southampton hold a serious interest in the former Sheffield United goalkeeper.
The Gunners seem quite prepared for his departure as they have already lined up a potential replacement in Joan Garcia.
