Arsenal urged to sign Leroy Sane
Mikael Silvestre, formerly of Arsenal and Manchester United, has urged Arsenal to sign Leroy Sane from Bayern Munich this summer. He believes the player’s quality and his contract situation makes Sane an attractive option for the north London club. Silvestre said (via Football365):
“Sane will bring quality and competition for Martinelli and Saka. They have a lot of competitions this season so they need quality to close the gap. He’s a quality player,”
Silvestre added that Mikel Merino is another player that the Gunners should look to sign. Merino caught the eyeballs after scoring Spain’s late winner against Germany in the Euro 2024 quarter-finals.
