Arsenal Fixtures for Premier League 2024/25 Season: Key Matches, Kick-Off Times, Schedule, and Venues
Arsenal had an excellent 2023/24 season but narrowly missed out on winning the Premier League title. They had put up a title challenge in the 2022/23 season as well but lost despite leading the table for 248 days.
Last season, however, the Gunners were able to take the title race to the final day. They had a stunning campaign, which was built on the back of having the best defensive record in the league. They conceded just 29 goals in 38 games and also kept 18 clean sheets. They also scored the second-highest goals in the league (91), only behind Manchester City.
However, it wasn’t enough as they lost the Premier League title by two points. Arsenal needed to beat Everton and hope that Man City drop points against West Ham on the final day. While the Gunners did their job, City comfortably beat the Hammers to lift their record fourth title in a row.
Arsenal started the season with the Community Shield win but failed to win any other trophy last season. However, they will hope to continue their upward trajectory in the upcoming 2024/25 season under Mikel Arteta.
The Gunners have been linked with numerous players as they look to strengthen their squad this summer. The likes of Bruno Guimaraes, Martin Zubimendi, and Youssouf Fofana have all been linked with a summer move to the Emirates. Meanwhile, in attack, Arsenal have been linked with Benjamin Sesko, Ivan Toney, Pedro Neto, and more.
The 2023/24 season was another example to show that Mikel Arteta’s side need to sign top-quality attackers and they will look to do so this summer. Meanwhile, in terms of exits, Mohamed Elneny has already left the club on a free transfer. Thomas Partey and Eddie Nketiah have also been linked with a move away and so has Jakub Kiwior.
After narrowly missing out on the title two years in a row, Arsenal will be determined to get over the line this season. Moreover, they will also hope to put in good performances in cup competitions.
