Arsenal and Manchester United battle for £30m Brian Brobbey
The 22-year-old Ajax striker has gained the attention of several Premier League giants this summer including Arsenal and Manchester United. The Dutchman has registered 22 goals and 12 assists in 43 appearances across all competitions.
Brian Bobbey is also representing his nation in the Euro 2024 this summer and could be a viable transfer for both Arsenal and Man United. Both Gabriel Jesus and Eddie Nketiah struggled to find their feet in the 2023/24 season, so Mikel Arteta is looking for an alternative option that could replace injury-prone Jesus in attack.
Manchester United, on the other hand, are prioritizing a move for a striker this summer after they lost Anthony Martial as a free agent. The Red Devils are also linked with Brobbey’s international teammate Joshua Zirkzee.
Ajax are demanding £30 million to part ways with the 22-year-old striker and both Arsenal and Man United have a decent possibility of getting the deal sanctioned over the next few weeks.
