Arsenal and Liverpool join PSG in race for Lookman

Arsenal are reportedly set to make a move for Atalanta’s Ademola Lookman, which could see defender Jakub Kiwior go the other way. The Gunners have already submitted an offer in the region of £42.5m plus add-ons, according to Alfredo Pedulla. However, the Italian club are expected to reject the deal as they look for transfer fee in the region of £51m for Lookman, who has a contract till 2026. That is where the addition of Kiwior in the deal could come in.

PSG were said to be in the hunt but now it seems like Mikel Arteta’s men have leapfrogged them in the race for the Nigerian winger. Liverpool too are quoted as being an interested party. They are one of the very few clubs across Europe who haven’t made a single summer signing yet, but new manager Arne Slot hinted that there could be incomings with Deadline Day fast approaching.
