Former Arsenal Star Alex Oxlade-Chamberlain Eyes Premier League Return
Alex Oxlade-Chamberlain Offered Premier League Lifeline
Former Arsenal and Liverpool midfielder Alex Oxlade-Chamberlain may be on his way back to the Premier League.
Reports suggest that the Englishman who is currently playing for Turkish club Besiktas is being offered a chance to return to England on loan.
Oxlade-Chamberlain affectionately known as “The Ox” left Arsenal for Liverpool where he enjoyed success but has since struggled to find his form.
Oxlade-Chamberlain’s current club Besiktas had a turbulent season finishing sixth in the Super Lig. Under new manager Giovanni van Bronckhorst the 29-year-old has been informed he can leave the club.
The Mirror reports that he was left out of Besiktas’ pre-season squad signalling a potential exit. A loan move back to the Premier League could provide the former Arsenal favourite with a fresh start.

Arsenal Not Interested, But Fans Supportive
While Arsenal fans may have fond memories of Oxlade-Chamberlain a return to the Gunners is not on the cards.
The club is not in need of reinforcements in his position and focusing on developing younger talent. However, the possibility of Oxlade-Chamberlain returning to the Premier League remains an interesting prospect for English football fans.
Since his departure from Liverpool Oxlade-Chamberlain has had a tough time managing only four goals in the Turkish league last season.
Despite these struggles Arsenal supporters hold no ill will towards him and wish him well in his next chapter. His dribbling skills and likable personality made him a fan favourite and many hope to see him succeed wherever he goes next.
As the transfer window progresses it remains to be seen which Premier League club (if any) will take a chance on the once-promising midfielder.
