Al-Ittihad Unwilling to Sell N’Golo Kanté Amid West Ham Interest
Al-Ittihad has firmly rejected offers for their star midfielder N’Golo Kanté amidst strong interest from West Ham United.
According to Fabrizio Romano the Saudi Arabian club sees Kanté as a crucial part of their project and has no intention of letting him go. The 33-year-old French international is considered vital for the club’s plans next season.
Following West Ham’s £15 million bid for the former Chelsea star, Al-Ittihad turned down the English outfit swiftly. Kanté impressed during EURO 2024 and continues to showcase his capabilities.
His retention is a priority for Al-Ittihad at the moment. Rather the Saudi Arabian outfit are much more focused on the further incoming. The club recently secured the €12 million signing of Houssem Aouar from Roma and is reportedly working on acquiring Moussa Diaby from Aston Villa.
With these additions, Al-Ittihad aims to build a formidable team for the upcoming season.
