Al-Ittihad launch move for Aston Villa star
Al-Ittihad have reportedly made a move to sign Moussa Diaby from Aston Villa. The Saudi Pro League side are keen on getting the pacy winger added to their squad this summer.
Fabrizio Romano has reported that the Middle Eastern side made a €50 million bid (including add-ons) for the Frenchman. However, Aston Villa are not happy with the offer and have rejected it. He posted:
“Al-Ittihad plan to advance for Moussa Diaby after Houssem Aouar as first signing under Blanc. Negotiations started with Aston Villa, initial proposal in excess of €50m with add-ons. Talks underway and player open to the move.”
Romano has added that Diaby is open to joining the Saudi side this summer. They finished 5th in the Saudi Pro League last season – a massive 42 points behind winner Al Hilal.
