Al Hilal star Neymar Jr set to reunite with his boyhood club Santos

Al Hilal and Brazil superstar, Neymar Jr is ready to mark a potential return to his boyhood club Santos FC in his homeland of Brazil reports transfer insider Fabrizio Romano. The 32-year-old forward has verbally agreed to join the Brazilian club with a massive pay cut and leave Saudi Pro League club Al Hilal during the January transfer window.

Neymar had joined the SPL side in the summer of 2023, but long-term injury scars turned his sensational move to the Middle East into a nightmare spell. The Brazil International has only made 7 appearances and scored a single goal for the Saudi Arabian champions since his arrival.

He still has six months left on his current contract which will expire in the summer of 2025. Since the former PSG star has a term left on his contract with Al-Hilal, the two options remain; terminate his contract with SPL champions, Al-Hilal or join Santos FC on a loan spell till the summer.
