Liverpool trying to sign Genoa midfielder Morten Frendrup

The Reds are yet to make their first signing of the summer despite being linked with several players in the summer transfer window. They have now taken an interest in Danish midfielder Morten Frendrup who is valued by Genoa at €25m.

The 23-year-old midfielder enjoyed an impressive season in the Serie A last season and is reportedly considered “unsellable” by Genoa this summer. He could be a perfect replacement for Wataru Endō who is high on Roberto De Zerbi’s wishlist.

Frendrup is a lifelong Liverpool fan and his move to Anfield would not be a problem if the Reds agree to meet Genoa’s asking price for the Dane.
