Real Madrid enquire for Inter Milan defender Alessandro Bastoni

Alessandro Bastoni has established himself as one of the best defenders in Serie A since breaking into the first team at Inter Milan. Real Madrid are in the market for a new defender after missing out on Yeny Loro this summer.

Departures of both Nacho and Rafa Marin has left Carlo Ancelotti worried about the club’s current defensive options. David Alaba won’t return to action before November with Eder Militao and Antonio Rudiger the only two primary defensive options in the heart of defence.

Alessandro Bastoni is a viable target for Ancelotti, but his contract with the Nerazzurri runs until the summer of 2028, meaning, he won’t come for cheap.
