Ange Postecoglou’s Tottenham close in on Pro deal for Mikey Moore

Tottenham Hotspur continues their pursuit of talented youth as Ange Postecoglou and his side are closing in on a professional deal for academy star Mikey Moore. The teenager has impressed the higher-ups at the club and Spurs are hopeful of announcing a contract renewal in the coming hours.

There has been heavy interest in Moore’s services, with multiple top English and German teams keen on securing his signatures. However, both Spurs and Moorey want to continue their partnership. Moore became Spurs’ youngest-ever Premier League debutant last season.

Moore will turn 17 on the 11th of August, allowing Tottenham to incorporate the player into their ranks officially. FA Rules stipulate clubs cannot offer professional terms until a said player turns 17, and in Moore’s case, he’s a few weeks away from that landmark.
