Cole Palmer trying to convince Ollie Watkins to join Chelsea

Football Insider have reported that Chelsea superstar Cole Palmer has been trying to persuade Ollie Watkins to join the Blues this summer. The Aston Villa forward has been among the options for Chelsea if they aren’t able to strike a deal for Victor Osimhen.

Palmer is said to have been convincing the 28-year-old Villa man over a move to Stamford Bridge. The duo are thought to have formed a strong relationship both on and off the pitch, especially during their time at the European Championship in Germany.

The Blues have already signed a striker in the form of Marc Guiu, but want to bolster their options alongside Nicholas Jackson in order to challenge for the top four in the Premier League next season.
