French legend wants Chelsea to sign Granit Xhaka

Former Chelsea player Frank Leboeuf has called for the club to do everything in their power to try and sign Granit Xhaka in this summer’s transfer window.

The former Arsenal midfielder believes a player like Xhaka is the missing piece in Chelsea’s midfield and might be just what the Blues require in order to upgrade their midfield tremendously heading into the 2024-25 Premier League season.

According to Leboeuf, Xhaka’s experience and skill set make him an ideal partner for Enzo Fernandez and Moises Caicedo in Chelsea’s midfield. He said, “Forget Arda Guler, Chelsea must do everything to sign Granit Xhaka this summer – he’s the missing piece of the puzzle.”
