Travis Head IPL Career

The left-handed batter made his IPL debut in 2015 for Delhi Daredevils (now Delhi Capitals). He was moved to Royal Challengers Bengaluru (RCB) in 2017, but he didn’t make any big impact on the franchise. He didn’t appear for quite some years in IPL but earned a contract at a whopping Rs. 6.8 crores in 2023 from Sunrisers Hyderabad (SRH) in 2023 and became one of the most destructive batters of the franchise.

SRH have retained Travis Head for a whopping Rs. 14 crores for the upcoming season. Head has played 25 matches in the IPL so far and has scored 772 runs at an average of 36.76, which included five half-centuries and one century. He has also taken two wickets in the league so far.
