It has been two years since Ramires decided to close his footballing career after previously being without a club for two years. The Brazilian was once a highly-admired player, especially among the Chelsea fans memorizing the Champions League semi final performance against Barcelona.
Ramires spent his last season with Palmeiras after arriving from JS Sunning in 2019 after playing for the Chinese Super League’s side for three seasons. During his career, he has scored 73 goals in 494 games. Chelsea may be top of mind pick when people were asked about where Ramires was playing. But he also played for Benfica and Cruzeiro.
Currently, Ramires took the internet by storm as he showed up with an unrecognizable appearance. What surprised people the most is Ramires looking to add more hair and weight, the features are not so him back in the day of playing.
