Xavi Hernadez rejects South Korea national team’s coaching offer
It doesn’t take too long for Xavi Hernandez to earn offers following his sacking at Barcelona. AS reported that the La Masia graduate attracted an offer from the South Korea national team.
South Korea sacked Jurgen Klinsmann following the AFC Asian Cup failure. The Taeguk Warriors were eliminated in the Round of 16 by Indonesia through the penalty shootout.

Since then, they appointed Kim Do-hoon as a caretaker. The gulf-situated country is currently looking for a settled person to lead the national team for the 2026 World Cup qualifiers against Singapore and China in June.
Xavi on the other hand, is believed to be planning on a sabbatical period to stay away from football. This is not the first time Xavi is linked with other national teams with Brazil came to offer him a contract when he was still at Al Sadd.
During his managerial tenure in Barcelona, Xavi has led his boyhood club to win multiple titles including La Liga and Copa del Rey in 2023. Back in February, he already announced his plan to leave Barca despite ending up being sacked after deciding to stay.
