Wolves 1-2 Manchester City: Player ratings as John Stones wins it at the death for misfiring Sky Blues
Manchester City beat Wolves 2-1 in the Premier League on Sunday, fighting off an early deficit. The hosts stunned the defending champions in the seventh minute with some brilliant work down the right that resulted in Jorgen Larsen firing them in front with a clinical effort. In the 33rd minute, the Sky Blues equalized for the home side through Josko Gvardiol.
With Erling Haaland effectively taken out of the game, City looked toothless for the most part, and were struggling to find the elusive winner despite their best efforts.
