Wolves nearing a transfer deal for Crystal Palace’s goalkeeper

As per a recent report by ‘GiveMeSport‘, backed by ‘David Ornstein’ of ‘The Athletic’, Premier League club Wolves are ‘close to agreeing’ a deal with fellow league rivals Crystal Palace in order to sign goalkeeper Sam Johnstone.

Ornstein further laid out that a deal between both clubs for the goalkeeper could stand around a financial mark of £10 million. Earlier in the transfer window, various reports in the English media pointed out that the Eagles were willing to let Johnstone leave this time around and had made that clear to him.

Wolves, on the other hand, have been also linked with a potential move for Arsenal’s goalkeeper Aaron Ramsdale, but reports hailed that a deal for him is highly unlikely to materialize. As things stand, Sam Johnstone is termed to be Old Gold’s number one priority.
