Premier League players who will miss the January action due to Africa Cup of Nations

The African Cup of Nations is just around the corner with 24 Nations taking part in the tournament. AFCON kicks start on January 13 with the finals set to take place on 11th February at the Olympic stadium of Ebimpe in the Ivory Coast.

Several players from the Premier League will be missing almost four-game weeks worth of Premier League football as they travel to the Ivory Coast for International duties. The absence of some of these players could well affect the season of several clubs drastically. Only Manchester City and Newcastle United remain the only clubs unaffected as they have no players involved in AFCON.
