West Ham United Fixtures for Premier League 2024/25 season: Key Matches, Kick-Off Times, Schedule, and Venues
West Ham United had an underwhelming 2023/24 campaign as compared to their previous season. They had won the UEFA Europa Conference League in the 2022/23 season. As a result, they qualified for the Europa League despite finishing 14th in the Premier League.
The Hammers did significantly improve their league position last season as they finished ninth but failed to qualify for any European competition. They also failed to win any trophy, having been eliminated from the Europa League by Bayer Leverkusen.
They were also eliminated from the FA Cup third round by Championship side Bristol City and from the EFL Cup quarter-finals by Liverpool. West Ham suffered some massive hammerings throughout the season. These include a 5-1 defeat against Liverpool, a 6-0 defeat against Arsenal, a 5-2 loss against Crystal Palace and a 5-0 hammering against Fulham.
There were questions raised regarding manager David Moyes’ future and it was eventually decided that he would leave the club at the end of the season. They have now appointed Julen Lopetegui as their new manager and are preparing for the upcoming 2024/25 season.
In terms of transfers, West Ham are already sweating the situation with Lucas Paqueta, who has been charged with breach of betting rules. He could face a ban if proven guilty. Moreover, the likes of Danny Ings have also been linked with a departure.
West Ham have already made one signing this summer though – Luis Guilherme from Palmeiras. They have also been linked with Eddie Nketiah, Max Kilman, and more as potential signings.
