“We are done” – Fans run riot as Gareth Southgate could possibly secure a Man United transfer
While Erik ten Hag’s time at Manchester United hasn’t exactly led to great success for the Dutchman or the club. However, the 2023/24 season hasn’t quite gone according to plan for either Ten Hag or the Red Devils, with the club sitting in sixth place. That was despite a summer of heavy spending and reports have indicated that the Old Trafford side are already looking at replacements.
Gareth Southgate Sparks Man United Transfer Frenzy
ESPN has reported that Manchester United’s back office has created a three-man shortlist to replace Ten Hag with England’s Gareth Southgate, Brighton and Hove Albion’s Roberto De Zerbi, and Brentford’s Thomas Frank on that list. However, that hasn’t gone down well with many fans especially since Southgate is on the list. It has seen Twitter explode with reactions to the news and apparently, quite a few Manchester United fans simply don’t like Gareth Southgate.
