WATCH: Trent Alexander-Arnold scores inch-perfect free-kick in Liverpool vs Fulham clash
In a time of despair for Liverpool fans around the world, Trent Alexander-Arnold stepped in to give hopes of a happy ending to their supporters. When visiting Fulham at the Craven Cottage, the Scouser full-back stunned the home crowd with his bull’s eye free-kick to give The Reds a lead in the first half.
Trent took the free-kick from outside of the box standing on the left side. He sent the ball into the top right corner of Bernd Leno who could do nothing about it.

Speaking to BBC after the game, Trent admitted that he honed his technique through the training sessions. “The technique I use, it generates the power itself. I just try to guide it and make it hard for the goalkeeper,” he said. “You get one chance in a game to execute it for the team. Practice, practice, practice and it pays off on days like today.”
He is now sitting third as a player with most direct free-kicks (6) scored for Liverpool in the Premier League. The first two players who scored most free-kicks for The Reds are the two former captains Jamie Redknapp (8) and Steven Gerrard (7).
Liverpool will face fellow Merseyside representative Everton at Goodison Park next week. With five games in hand, the Anfield-based side need to win all five games if they want to at least have a shot at their luck of the Premier League title.
