USA 1-2 Canada: Player ratings as Shaffelburg and David combine to sink the Stars and Stripes
Canada overcame the United States in a 2-1 friendly win on Saturday. Jacob Shaffelburg opened the scoring for the Maple Leaves in the 12th minute before Jonathan David doubled their advantage just before the hour mark. The Stars and Stripes looked to find their way back into the tie and Lucas De La Torre pulled one back in the 66th minute, but it failed to inspire a comeback as they were met with Canadian resistance.
