The friendly game between USA vs Costa Rica ended as 3-0 victory for the United States Men’s soccer team on Wednesday. Brian White and Caden Clark scored their first international goals to help the team secure a victory at Orlando. In this fixture, the European players were not called which saw the absence of Christian Pulisic, Weston McKennie and Yunus Musah as they were busy with their club commitments. This game acted as the best testing ground for the young players before the marquee players of the United States men’s soccer team are called for the major tournaments of 2025. USA play Panama in the semi final of the CONCAF Nations league in March and the CONCAF Gold Cup in June and July.

United States men’s soccer team coach, Mauricio Pochettino made eight changes to the lineup which started in 3-1 victory over Venezuela on Saturday. In the game against Costa Rica, White scored in the 21st minute and Clark in the 77th minute before Patrick Agyemang added a goal in the dying moments of the game. This goal was Agyemang’s second goal after he scored his debut goal against Venezuela.

The Colorado Rapids’ Zack Steffen kept the advantage in the 37th minute by making a spectacular full extension right-handed save on Alejandro Bran, who was attempting a twisting effort from 25 yards out.

Benjamin Cremaschi: 7.0/10- The midfielder was there on the field till the first half and was decent with his performance. Was not very flashy but worker hard and did the difficult parts very well.

Diego Luna: 8.1/10- He was one of the importance creative for for USA in this fixture. He created six chances for his team maintaining a passing accuracy of 86 percent.
