Uruguay vs Colombia will be the second semi-final of Copa America 2024 and will take place at the Bank of America Stadium on July 11.
La Celeste have had an impressive run so far at the tournament. They topped Group C by winning all their games to qualify for the knockouts where they were to face Brazil. Uruguay played out a 0-0 draw with them in 90 minutes but won the penalty shoot-out 4-2 to progress to the semi-final. With form and momentum on their side, sky is the limit.
Los Cafeteros, on the other hand, arguably did one better as they topped Group D ahead of Brazil, winning two and drawing one game. They then breezed past Panama with a thumping 5-0 win in the quarter-finals as they grow from strength to strength as the tournament progresses. Now, they will look to put their best foot forward once again.

Manager Marcelo Bielsa will have to make a minimum of one adjustment to his next lineup as Nahitan Nandez received a straight red against Brazil and will miss the next game. Another concern is Ronald Araujo, who limped off in the first half and was replaced by Jose Maria Gimenez.
Sergio Rochet will continue in goal, with Sebastian Caceres likely to slot in place of Nandez, and Gimenez in place of Araujo in defence. Manuel Ugarte and Federico Valverde will anchor the midfield, with Facundo Pellistri and Maximiliano Araujo on the wings. Darwin Nunez will lead the line.

Manager Nestor Lorenzo will be mighty pleased with his team’s efforts as they secured a resounding 5-0 win against Panama and even walked away unscathed from that match. His main XI performed exceptionally well and he will stick with it.
Camilo Vargas will continue between the sticks, with Davinson Sanchez and Carlos Cuesta as central defenders. Richard Rios and Jhon Arias will man the midfield, with skipper James Rodriguez and Luis Diaz on the wings. Jhon Cordoba will be the lone striker.

- James Rodriguez (Colombia) – James had a great first-half in the semi-final against Panama as he assisted his team’s first goal, scored the second and assisted their third goal – all inside the first half. All eyes will be on him as he leads his nation from the front at yet another major tournament.
