Ukraine 1-0 Georgia: Player Ratings as Mykhaylo Mudryk scores to hand first victory to his team in the Nations League

Ukraine hosted Georgia in the UEFA Nations League on Friday, October 11 and secured a narrow 1-0 win to secure their first victory in League B Group 1. The result sees the Ukrainians register their first points in this edition of the tournament but they remain in fourth place.

Ukraine made a strong start to the contest and looked threatening from the very start of the game. Despite having lesser of the ball in the first half, they were set up perfectly well to attack on the counter and managed to grab the lead in that manner. Georgiy Sudakov provided an assist for Mykhaylo Mudryk, who scored to make it 1-0 as his team led at the break.

The second half saw Georgia try to amp up their efforts to find a leveller as they had 60% possession of the ball. However, they managed just two shots on target from eight attempts as their players misfired in a crucial game. Ukraine defended heroically and not only secured the win, but kept a clean sheet as well.

On that note, let’s take a look at the player ratings for both sides.
