Ukraine will take on Belgium in their final group-stage match at UEFA Euro 2024 on Wednesday. It is a crucial clash as Group E is the most exciting group at the tournament after two games. All four teams are tied at three points going into the final group games.
Romania currently lead the table followed by Belgium in second. Slovakia are third with Ukraine at the bottom.
Belgium had a terrible start to the campaign as they lost 1-0 against Slovakia in their first game. However, they bounced back well to beat Romania 2-0 on Saturday, June 22.
Ukraine, meanwhile, also started poorly, losing 3-0 against Romania but they edged out a 2-1 win over Slovakia in their second game.
A win for either side will take them through to the Round of 16. A draw, however, will put them at the mercy of the result between Romania and Slovakia.

Belgium, meanwhile, are without Axel Witsel and Thomas Meunier due to injuries. Arthur Theate also went off due to a slight injury against Romania and his fitness is under speculation.

Artem Dobvyk
Artem Dobvyk hasn’t been able to perform to his potential at Euro 2024 so far. He had a tough outing against Romania and could only get half-chances against Slovakia.
However, he has shown glimpses of his ability and link up play in the tournament. He will look to finally get on the scoresheet against Belgium.
Dobvyk has scored 10 goals and provided four assists in 30 games for Ukraine. He had an excellent 2023-24 season with Girona and won the La Liga Pichichi award for top goalscorer with 24 goals in 36 league games.
Romelu Lukaku
Romelu Lukaku has been incredibly unlucky at Euro 2024 so far. He has missed some big chances but has also had three goals chalked off across two games.
Lukaku is Belgium’s all-time top scorer with 85 goals and 18 assists in 117 games. He has been getting into good positions and will be desperate to open his tally against Ukraine.
The striker had a good 2023-24 season on loan with AS Roma, registering 21 goals and four assists in 47 games across competitions. Moreover, his future with Chelsea hangs in the balance and he will look to impress at Euro 2024 to gain potential suitors.

Ukraine were abysmal in the first game against Romania as they lost 3-0. However, they bounced back well against Slovakia, especially after they had gone down 1-0 in the 27th minute.
Belgium, meanwhile, were good against Slovakia but were let down by their finishing. They were also excellent against Romania but again, could’ve scored more than two goals. Their defense has looked shaky in both games as well. They still should be able to get past Ukraine though.
