UEFA Nations League draw results: fixtures and schedule for knockout stage and play-offs

The draw for the UEFA Nations League 2024-25 season’s knockout stages and play-offs took place in Switzerland today. Following the successful completion of the group stages this week, the remaining teams in the tournament have found out their fate in the upcoming rounds through the draw.

The group phase came to a close in the recently concluded November international break, with the top two teams from the four groups of League A booking their place in the quarter-finals kicking off in next year’s March in a two-legged tie. Reigning champions Spain, who also won the European Championship in the summer, had a terrific group-stage campaign, finishing as the toppers of their group.

Portugal featuring Cristiano Ronaldo – who were also the inaugural Nations League winner, France and Germany have also come out as toppers of their group, thus making it to the seeded teams for the quarter-finals and semi-finals draw. Meanwhile, Croatia, Denmark, Italy and Netherlands finished as runners-up.

Similarly, England, Czechia, Wales and Norway have secured their automatic promotion to League A after topping their groups in League B.

On the other hand, the playoffs, which will be played alongside the knockout phases in March, will contested by the relegated sides.

The quarter-finals of the Nations League 2024-25 will take place in a two-legged tie, starting from March 20, 2025.

The finals and third-place play-off of UEFA Nations League 2024/25 will be played on June 08, 2025. One of the semi-finalists is set to host the finals.
