UEFA Euro 2024: Adidas reveal new kits for Spain, Germany, Italy, Belgium and more

With Euro 2024 less than three months away, it has fans excited for the quadrennial tournament especially with several bigwigs competing in it. That includes England, Spain, Germany, Italy, Belgium and a few other big sides. However, the qualifications are still not over as three teams could still make the final cut as they play in the playoffs that take place in the upcoming international break.

That includes Wales, Poland, Ukraine, Greece and a few other squads although that hasn’t stopped Adidas from sending fans into raptures by revealing several new kits. The giant sports company will make the kits for seven national teams (Scotland, Germany, Spain, Belgium, Wales, Italy and Hungary) at Euro 2024 and with less than 100 days left, they’ve officially unveiled the designs.

UEFA Euro 2024: The new Adidas kits are based on a fresh perspective of football heritage

The German company has thrived over the last few years with their designs, namely for Arsenal and Italy, and a lot was expected from their designs for Euro 2024. In the statement that was released with the kits, Adidas revealed that they ensured that their designs remained true to the country’s football heritage while offering a fresh perspective.

The same was echoed by Sam Handy, VP of Product and Design at Adidas, and he said that the team wanted to show that the kit meant more than sport. He also added that he hopes that the team got things right as they wanted to represent each country with a unique vision while adding a bold new look for each federation as well.

“The national shirt is the visual symbol that binds a nation together, as its team looks to deliver moments for fans that will last a lifetime. With this, the shirt represents so much more than sport – it represents unity, it represents a passion that connects us, and it represents an identity that is celebrated at its highest during an international tournament,” Handy said, reported the Metro.

“We bind this emotion and energy by nodding to the intrinsic DNA of each federation, topped with bold new looks, which fans can wear proudly, both in the stands and on the streets this summer.”
