Tyson Fury arrives at Old Trafford for Manchester United vs Liverpool

Tyson Fury has made his way to Old Trafford today for Manchester United vs Liverpool in the FA Cup. The boxing legend is a massive Red Devils fan and will be on the pitchside.

In a video posted by FA Cup’s official account on X, formerly known as Twitter, the WBC heavyweight champion was making his way out of the tunnel, just over 90 minutes before the players came out. 

Fury was wearing in St.Patrick’s day spirit as he was wearing a green tracksuit along with a Stetson hat. Emerging out of the tunnel ahead of Manchester United vs Liverpool, the boxer was heard saying, “This is where it’s at!”

Managers thoughts ahead of Manchester United vs Liverpool in FA Cup 

Both managers held their press conferences ahead of Manchester United vs Liverpool this week and were backing their players to do well. They are aware of the task in front of them but were confident of getting through to the next round.

Erik ten Hag was quick to call his his fans to back the players on the pitch and sent a message ahead of the game. He said:

“Just as we need our players on top form, the same is true of our fans. The challenge to you is to help us make the most of our home advantage in the last cup game to be played at Old Trafford this season. Cup games are do-or-die and we need the players and fans to give energy to each other if we are to progress to the semi-finals. The prizes on offer today are huge: a return to Wembley, a step closer to a major trophy and a win over our biggest rivals. To achieve those goals, everybody inside Old Trafford has a part to play, working as one big team. Together, we are a formidable force.”

Jurgen Klopp was quizzed about his opponents but the manager claimed that he was not paying attention to the Red Devils. He said:

“I don’t know too much about their season but I saw a few really, really good games. There’s a lot of quality there. They had injury problems obviously as well but a lot of quality. I don’t know which players are available – maybe Rasmus Hojlund is available again, I think [Aaron] Wan-Bissaka and some others were not available recently, that obviously makes a difference as well. We will see that on Sunday. But again, it was always a tough place to go for us, it’s not easy. It means everything to both fan groups, it means absolutely everything – we know that – [and] we try to show that on the pitch as well with the work-rate, but you never know. There are no guarantees, just opportunities. That’s how we see it and we are really willing to give it a try.”

The winner of Manchester United vs Liverpool will join Coventry City, Manchester City and Chelsea in the FA Cup semifinal draw.
