Bournemouth’s Tyler Adams to miss early stages of 2024-25 Premier League campaign due to surgery: Report
As reported by renowned football journalist ‘Fabrizio Romano’ and further backed by ‘Simon Stone’, USA international midfielder Tyler Adams is likely to miss the initial stages of the 2024-25 Premier League season for Bournemouth due to a recent back surgery that reportedly got worse while playing for his country in the Copa America 2024.
This of course comes as a huge blow for the Cherries leading into the new season as their manager Andoni Iraola could have the 25-year-old in his plans for the upcoming campaign. “It’s difficult to say how long but he won’t be fit for the start of the season. But September? October? I don’t know..”, Iraola reportedly stated.

Tyler Adams made the switch from Leeds United to Bournemouth in August 2023. He has signed a contract with the Cherries that runs till June 2028. So, it can be formulated that the player has kind of committed his future to the London-based club. Bournemouth exceeded expectations in the previous season. They stayed well clear of the relegation zone and finished 12th on the table.
Even though Adams made just three appearances for the club in the last Premier League season, he is kind of expected to play a more influential role in the upcoming season. But as of now, it seems like the Cherries fans would have to wait a bit more to see him in action in the 2024-25 Premier League season.
